Raigarh (07/03): Three state-of-the-art toilets, resembling those found in malls, are set to be erected in the city. The government has sanctioned Rs 73.32 lakh for their construction.
These aspirational toilets are part of the Swachh Bharat Mission Urban 2.0 initiative. They will be strategically located near Sarangarh Bus Stand, Kevda Bari Bus Stand, and Pauni Pasari by Degree College. The Pauni Pasari toilet will feature 6 urinals and 6 toilet stalls for both men and women. Similarly, the Sarangarh and Keodabari toilets will have 10 urinals and 10 toilet stalls each. All three facilities will boast modern amenities akin to those found in upscale malls.
The government has allocated Rs 73.32 lakh for the construction of these toilets. According to Executive Engineer Mr. Amresh Kumar Lohia, work on all three toilets will commence shortly.
