Bhopal. (19:04): Today marks the first phase of Madhya Pradesh Lok Sabha elections with voting underway for six seats. Commencing at seven in the morning, reports of EVM malfunctions have surfaced from various locations. In Chhindwara, a bag bearing the Congress symbol was discovered at a polling booth, promptly confiscated by the attending policeman pending investigation. The origins of this bag remain undisclosed.

Notably, Sampatia Uike, the PHE minister in Madhya Pradesh’s Mohan Yadav government, exercised her franchise in Mandla, queuing up like any other voter.
